Necessary storage of your preferences

Rudolf Hartmann stores your selected categories, version, timestamp and expiry locally under rh_consent_google_v1. This entry contains no form data and is not sent to Google as a visitor profile. It is valid for six months; if your browser blocks storage, your preferences apply only to the current page visit.

Statistics with Google Analytics 4

Only with analytics consent do we measure page views and general usage signals such as scroll depth, form starts and contact clicks. Cookies can recognise a browser on subsequent visits. Form contents and contact details are not sent as measurement data.

Advertising measurement with Google Ads

Only with consent to both analytics and advertising do we measure whether an ad click leads to a successfully submitted form enquiry. We import the confirmed enquiry event from Google Analytics into Google Ads for this purpose. Google click identifiers may be stored in cookies and read for attribution. We do not use remarketing or enhanced conversions based on contact details.

Google Tag Manager

Tag Manager loads only after you consent to analytics. Advertising measurement additionally requires your consent to advertising. Without analytics consent we load no Google measurement services, even if you consent to advertising alone. Google receives technical connection data when loading; see our privacy policy for provider details and possible processing in the United States.

Advertising measurement with OpenAI Ads

Only after separate consent to OpenAI do we send a notification following a successful form submission and, where available, the ad click identifier. This also involves processing your IP address and browser data. No form contents, customer data matching or third-party script that reads your entries. Consent to Google alone does not activate this measurement.

Cookies and local storage entries remain in the browser used. Necessary storage of your preferences serves only to respect your decision. Depending on your consent, Google cookies support visitor statistics or ad click attribution. Cookies are separate from the measurement data stored by Google.

rh_consent_google_v1: a necessary local storage entry by Rudolf Hartmann containing your preferences, version, timestamp and expiry. Duration: six months. No form contents or visitor profile for Google.
_ga and _ga_FGN2MQ7MKC: Google Analytics cookies used to recognise a browser and associate visits. Only with analytics consent. On this website they are configured to last no more than 180 days; subsequent visits do not extend the expiry.
_gcl_aw: a Google cookie for ad click attribution. Only with consent to both analytics and advertising and a valid advertising click identifier. Duration: up to 90 days.
rh_consent_openai_v1: a necessary local entry for your separate OpenAI preference. Contains only consent or rejection, the version and timestamps. Duration: six months.
rh_openai_click_v1: an ad click identifier in the browser's local storage, only after consent to OpenAI. Kept for no more than 30 days, with no extension unless you click another ad. Expired entries are removed on your next visit to the website.
rh_openai_attribution_v1: a validated campaign name and entry page in session storage, only after consent to OpenAI. Kept for no more than 30 minutes and no longer than until the tab is closed. Used internally to record the source of your form enquiry.

Withdrawing consent to OpenAI stops further measurement requests and removes the OpenAI attribution data we can access from this browser. Your Google preferences remain separate. Our OpenAI measurement request neither sends nor sets third-party cookies. The privacy notice explains further processing by the provider.

Browsers may shorten these durations or remove cookies earlier. When advertising measurement is permitted, Google may also call its measurement services on its own domains. Personalised advertising and remarketing remain disabled.

When you withdraw consent, we delete accessible Google cookies for the category you have disabled and reload the page to stop measurement services that were already loaded. You can remove cookies stored on other domains through your browser settings. Deleting local cookies does not automatically delete data already sent to Google.

Technical delivery of the website

Our hosting provider Vercel processes technical connection data to deliver and protect the website. This is not an analysis of your behaviour for advertising.

Your contact enquiry

Your form details are sent through Formspree only when you submit the form. Processing and retention details are provided in the privacy notice.
