Four milestones

Connected to Merano.
Growing through the years.

The tasks change. Our connection with goods movements, organisation and regional businesses continues to shape our history.

  1. Starting with horse-drawn wagons

Rudolf Hartmann is founded. The first transport operations use horse-drawn wagons.

  2. Goods traffic and Merano railway station

Goods from surrounding towns are brought to the station and transferred onto trains. Merano’s first railway station was built on land belonging to the Hartmann family.

  3. A new site in Sinigo

Under the fourth generation, the company moves into the premises at J. Kravoglstr. 10 in Sinigo near Merano.

  4. More services around goods

Additional specialisation in individual logistics requirements, process organisation and customer-specific workflows.
